The Buffalo Trace “6 Millionth Barrel” Bourbon is one of the most historically significant commemorative releases ever produced at Buffalo Trace Distillery. Barreled in April 1996 and bottled in 2019, this release marks the 6 millionth barrel filled since the distillery was renamed Buffalo Trace in 1999.
Only 400 unique 375ml bottles were released, each packaged in a presentation box with a numbered medallion, letter of authenticity and full donation history. Every bottle was auctioned for charity and raised over $1 million, making this one of the only rare bourbons that can never be re-released or repeated.
